Job summary

Lodge Bread Co., LLC is seeking a friendly Cashier to provide excellent customer service while processing transactions and taking orders at the counter or tables. You will support food and beverage preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth front-of-house operations in a busy bakery and cafe setting.

Responsibilities include handling payments, serving a variety of items, and assisting with inventory and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or cashiering is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers and team members.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to process transactions accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, welcoming service to customers and process transactions via POS.
• Take and process food and beverage orders with clear communication.
• Handle payments accurately using cash, card, and mobile methods.
• Prepare and serve items such as sandwiches, pastries, and drinks.
• Ensure proper packaging for takeout orders and handle special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of cashier stations and dining areas.
• Brew coffee and assist with minor food prep when needed.
• Coordinate with kitchen and barista teams to ensure smooth operation.
