Job summary

Sam's Club in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Cake Decorator to join our bakery team at 8050 N 124th Street. This full-time role offers hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $28.00 and includes opportunities to grow with the club’s Bakery department.

You will collaborate with associates to ensure high-quality decorations, maintain food safety standards, and support member service by creating attractive bakery items for celebrations and everyday needs.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross functional teams and educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources, and communicates to provide customer service.
• Be an Expert: Plans bakery productions, ensures quality and accuracy of decorative designs, follows recipes, and handles bags, tips, nozzles to create flowers and lettering while maintaining safety and inventory.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engages with handheld tech for decisions related to production and product quality.
• Be an Owner: Drives bakery area performance, ensures quality and date control, reduces waste, prepares for seasonal events and assists members with purchases and concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate, mentors others, and fosters a respectful, productive team environment.
