BAKERY/CAKE DECORATOR (Finance)

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Minimum qualifications:

• Retail experience
• Bakery/cake decorating experience
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Basic math skills
• Effective communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Second language skills (speaking, reading, or writing)
• Ability to create a welcoming environment and assist customers with product questions and suggestions
• Experience in decorating cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery items
• Knowledge of product quality, freshness, and proper equipment use
• Ability to label, stock, and inventory merchandise
• Understanding of store layout and inventory management
• Adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards
