BAKERY/CAKE DECORATOR (Finance)

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and monitor all quality assurance standards. Minimum requirements:

• Retail experience
• Bakery/cake decorating experience
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Basic math skills
• Effective communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Second language skills (speaking, reading, or writing)
• Ability to create a welcoming environment for customers
• Knowledge of bakery products and ability to respond to customer inquiries and make suggestions
• Experience in offering samples and preparing bakery items, including wedding cakes
• Skill in decorating cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery items
• Ability to label, stock, and inventory products
• Knowledge of store layout and inventory management
• Adherence to health, safety, and food safety regulations
• Compliance with safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations
