Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and offering product samples.
• Gain knowledge of products and suggest items to customers.
• Prepare bakery items, including wedding cakes, and decorate cakes, pastries, cupcakes, and cookies.
• Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; monitor quality and freshness.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and practice preventive maintenance.
• Handle customer inquiries and assist in locating products.
• Report discrepancies and safety issues to management.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Any retail or bakery/cake decorating experience.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
