Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact positively with customers.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English, with the ability to follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work according to the store’s schedule based on business needs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with team members to uphold the 'Golden Rule' and foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
• Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, responding to questions, assisting at the service counter, and suggesting products.
• Decorate cakes and prepare bakery products according to customer specifications, including icing, decorating, packaging, and labeling.
• Handle special orders, including catering and wedding cakes, and assist with delivery and setup.
• Operate bakery equipment such as mixers and ovens, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Organize and rotate stock, process merchandise, and ensure product freshness.

Additional Duties

• Restock supplies efficiently to minimize waste.
• Promote items via public address system.
• Report theft, shoplifting, and property damage.
• Complete onboarding and training within 30 days.

Physical and Safety Considerations

The role involves physical activities such as lifting, standing, and operating equipment, with safety risks including exposure to loud noises, hazardous materials, and slippery surfaces. Proper safety protocols must be followed.
