Panera Bread in Arlington, VA is seeking a Team Manager to lead a bakery-cafe team, drive guest experiences, and uphold top food and service standards. You will coach and develop staff, participate in interviews, and ensure food safety while building a culture of warmth and belonging.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead shifts while directing, motivating, coaching, and developing others.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve certification).
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
• Background check required (condition of employment).
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 25 pounds; stand and walk for up to 6 hours.
• Clear communication in loud environments and ability to understand guests and teammates.
• Be an ambassador of Panera’s guiding values and behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Make sure every guest is delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff.
• Build engaging relationships that lead to long-term, loyal guests.
• Lead, manage and develop team members by coaching, inspiring, and motivating them to exceed goals in sales, speed, accuracy, and guest experience; celebrate achievements along the way.
• Participate in the interviewing and selection process.
• Train the team in food safety standards and ensure they are maintained.
