Job summary

Wet Willie's in Washington, DC is seeking a friendly Bakery Cafe Server to warmly greet customers, take orders, upsell products and prepare drink orders to standard. You will operate a cash register and handle payments accurately while following cash handling policies.

You will educate customers about coffee beans and brewing methods, maintain a clean client area, and support the store during busy periods with a calm, positive attitude. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Some cash handling and customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
• Requires the ability to stand, bend, and lift (up to 25 lbs.) to perform normal job functions.
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, and converse with customers in English.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
