Job summary

Panera is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Kennesaw, GA to support cafe operations, coach and develop a high-performing team, and drive sales and profitability with Panera Warmth and hospitality.

You’ll lead shifts, ensure quality service, manage staffing and training, and uphold Food Safety standards in a busy bakery-cafe environment. Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to drive positive results and manage in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Strong leadership, planning in staffing, scheduling and succession planning.
• Proven coaching and development of team members for career growth.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in directing cafe operations to meet company standards.
• Hire, train, motivate and manage Retail Team Members for exceptional guest service.
• Supervise shifts, coach supervisors and staff to build cafe expertise.
• Maintain compliance with Food Safety standards and brand procedures.
• Contribute to labor, inventory and cost control to maximize profitability.
