Job summary

PAQ, Inc. Bakery & Beverage Clerk position at our Manteca store supports the Bakery Lead across bakery operations, coffee and juice bar service, and Home Meal Replacement (HMR) meal prep and assembly.

You will be a frequent first contact for customers, maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-focused department. The role emphasizes friendly service, accurate merchandising, beverage preparation, HMR assembly, and strict adherence to food safety and workplace policies in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Previous customer service, food service, coffee shop, bakery, deli, or retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and helpful customer service, resolving concerns with supervisor assistance as needed.
• Follow procedures for receiving, pricing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising products.
• Prepare, package, decorate, and stock bakery products as assigned.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, smoothies, juices, and other beverages per recipes and food safety standards.
• Prepare, assemble, package, and merchandise HMR items including ready-to-cook/eat meals.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness across bakery, beverage, and HMR stations.
• Operate POS systems and cashier equipment accurately.
• Adhere to all health regulations and company policies.
