BAKERY/BAKER (Finance)

Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor all established quality assurance standards. • Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Responsibilities include:

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and making product suggestions.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department.
• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples and inform customers of bakery specials.
• Provide customers with fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrinkage.
• Recommend bakery items to customers.
• Use bakery equipment according to company guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to recipes and food safety standards.
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients.
• Properly package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
• Check product quality and review "sell by" dates.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Assist with inventory management and stock conditions.
• Adhere to all food safety and safety regulations.

Salary Range: $17.50 - $22.61
