Minimum requirements:
- Ability to handle stressful situations

- Current food handlers permit once employed
Desired qualifications:
- Bakery experience
- Retail experience
- Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)
Responsibilities include:
- Promote trust and respect among associates.
- Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and making product suggestions.
- Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department.
- Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
- Offer product samples and inform customers of bakery specials.
- Provide customers with fresh, correctly portioned products to prevent shrinkage.
- Recommend bakery items to customers.
- Use bakery equipment according to company guidelines.
- Prepare foods according to recipes and food safety standards.
- Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients.
- Properly package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
- Check product quality and review "sell by" dates.
- Maintain equipment and ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Assist with inventory management and stock conditions.
- Adhere to all food safety and safety regulations.
Salary Range: $17.50 - $22.61
