Qualifications

• Less than a high school diploma or equivalent experience accepted.
• Up to six months of similar or related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service at the bakery counter.
• Help customers find products, reach items, and take orders.
• Review daily orders and monitor freshness, appearance, and stock.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish baked goods.
• Maintain sanitation and keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Check in product, put away inventory, and review invoices.
• Operate the department register for payments.
• Remove trash and keep the department tidy.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and policies.
• Assist in other store areas and participate in special projects.
