Job summary

The Fresh Grocer in Wyncote, PA is seeking a Bakery Associate to assist the Bakery Manager with daily pastry and bread preparation, dough mixing, icing, packaging, and product rotation. You will help maintain a clean, attractive department and perform tasks efficiently and safely in line with company policy.

Responsibilities include trimming, packing, stocking, weighing ingredients, and providing friendly service to Customers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to stand/walk for long shifts.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate certain bakery equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Greet Customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness and proper signage.
• Follow recipes and prep pastries and breads as directed.
• Handle inventory and assist with daily bakery tasks as needed.
