Job summary

Harris Teeter is hiring for a full-time role in Boone, NC. The associate bakes products per standards, processes/packs Fresh Foods items, stocks shelves, and assists customers while maintaining clean work areas.

Requires a high school diploma or GED (or 1–3 months related experience). Must be 18+, able to read/write English, perform basic math, and follow safety training. Physical duties include lifting up to 30 pounds regularly (up to 50 pounds occasionally).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team to improve customer satisfaction and sales.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos in English; effective written and oral English communication.

Responsibilities

• Bake products according to standards and process/pack Fresh Foods products.
• Stock, unload and reload as part of warehouse operations.
• Clean work areas and provide customer service.
• Follow training including food sanitation and safety programs.
