Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a bakery associate to scale, mix and bake various bakery goods and maintain bakery inventory and display standards. You will ensure cleanliness, follow recipes, and assist customers with orders. Flexible shifts include early mornings and evenings in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities include producing breads and pastries, operating and cleaning equipment, packaging products, and taking customer orders. Food Handlers Certification is required by state laws.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow recipes and production guides.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs during shifts.
• Must have Food Handlers Certification per state laws.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, engage, serve and thank customers with a friendly attitude.
• Produce bakery products for retail stores and maintain quality.
• Operate and clean equipment and maintain sanitary bakery area.
• Label, package and display bakery items using FIFO.
• Take orders by phone and in person, including special orders for cakes.
• Open and close bakery according to company procedures.
