Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, TX, is hiring for a Bakery Associate to maintain stock levels and quality of bakery products. You will monitor dates, temperature controls, and ensure attractive displays while delivering friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include packaging, labeling, and assisting with sales initiatives in a fast-paced retail bakery environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior food-handling certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate baked goods to maintain freshness.
• Assist in packaging, labeling and displaying products.
• Promote sales with friendly, customer-focused service.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work and shopping areas.
• Greet customers and answer questions by phone or in person.
