Job summary

Der Dutchman Plain City is hiring Bakery Staff for a fast-paced, team-driven bakery environment. Training is provided, with stability and long-term opportunity in hospitality. The role offers an on-the-job training pathway and a friendly team focused on quality baked goods.

Pay is based on experience, with a morning shift (6AM-4PM) and full or part-time options. Benefits include DHG discounts and opportunities for a long-term career in a welcoming community bakery.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• SafeServ certification – can provide training if you don’t have it.
• Lift and/or move 10 to 30 pounds as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Bake pies, bread and doughnuts
• Use electric mixers and other equipment
• Use established recipes
• Mix ingredients consistently
• Adjust oven temperatures
• Check baked goods for quality
• Check production schedule to determine what and how much to bake
• Restock ingredients
• Clean shelves, bins, tables and coolers
