Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Honolulu is seeking a team member for the Bakery department to assist with receiving and preparing products, display maintenance, and friendly service. You will stock shelves, support sampling, and help uphold WFM standards and safety policies.

No retail experience required; all training provided. You will work on a rotating schedule including evenings and weekends, delivering courteous service, proper labeling, and accurate signage.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge across department.
• Ability to learn and follow store procedures and safety rules.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Comfort with physically demanding tasks and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean and well stocked with front-facing displays.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping areas full and neat.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, well-groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintains proper signs and pricing; follows safety and sanitation procedures.
• Reports safety hazards or violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
