Job summary

ShopRite of Hamilton Plaza is seeking a Baker to support the Bakery Manager with daily production, dough handling, icing, and packaging of pastry and bread items. The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, attractive department and delivering a great customer experience in a fast-paced store setting.

Responsibilities include following company policies, safety procedures, and accurate inventory and preparation tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Work cooperatively with others and follow schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Rotate merchandise to ensure freshness and accurate signage.
• Follow recipes and prepare items per department standards.
• Adhere to QA, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
