Ingles Markets in Greenville, SC, seeks an Assistant Bakery Manager to support daily bakery operations and help achieve sales and profit goals. In the Bakery Manager’s absence, this role leads the department and supervises staff while enforcing company standards.

You will ensure quality products, compliance with safety rules, and outstanding customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bakery experience is required.
• Food safety knowledge is required.
• Able to read and perform simple math problems.
• Team-oriented in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with product inquiries.
• Train, mentor, and support new hires; ensure all team members follow department procedures.
• Manage scheduling, production sheets, and product ordering to maintain efficient operations.
• Oversee bakery operations in the Bakery Manager’s absence; supervise staff and enforce policies.
• Receive, verify, and stock merchandise; maintain accurate invoices and logs.
• Ensure displays are stocked, neat, and properly rotated and priced.
• Operate bakery equipment safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
