Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Parsippany, NJ, is seeking a motivated bakery team member to help produce, bake, and package a wide range of breads, bagels, pastries, and other goods. You will engage with customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service while ensuring displays are fresh and inviting.

Responsibilities

• Bake, produce, and package baked goods
• Provide customer service and answer questions promptly
• Maintain clean and well-stocked cases and aisles
• Follow stocking, rotating, and merchandising best practices
• Assist with unloading deliveries and stocking inventory as needed

As a member of our bakery department, you’ll work alongside a talented team responsible for the production and packaging of the breads, bagels, sweet treats, and other baked goods that make our customers’ day. What You'll Do

• Bake, produce, and package baked goods
• Provide incredible customer service and answer customer questions in a timely manner
• Ensure fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases and aisles clean and well-stocked
• Follow proper stocking, rotating, and merchandising techniques to ensure freshness
• May help unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays, and backroom coolers with new and existing inventory
