Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Syracuse, NY is seeking a part-time Bakery associate to join our bakery team. You will bake, package, and display breads, bagels, and other baked goods while delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will help keep displays fresh, stock shelves, and assist with deliveries as needed. This role requires 18+ years old and availability mornings, afternoons, evenings, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Part-time availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Bake, produce, and package baked goods
• Provide excellent customer service and answer customer questions promptly
• Keep display cases and aisles clean and well-stocked to ensure freshness
• Follow stocking, rotating, and merchandising techniques for freshness
• Assist with unloading deliveries and stocking cases/backroom coolers as needed

What You'll Do

• Bake, produce, and package baked goods

• Ensure fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases and aisles clean and well-stocked
• Follow proper stocking, rotating, and merchandising techniques to ensure freshness
• May help unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays, and backroom coolers with new and existing inventory
