Job summary

Lucky Stars Bakehouse in Concord, MA is seeking a dedicated Production & Baking professional to support daily gluten-free production including breads, cookies, and bars, ensuring consistency and quality.

You will manage ingredient rotation, inventory, packaging to brand standards, and maintain a clean, safe workspace, while adapting to a dynamic startup environment.

This full-time role offers $18-24/hr with growth opportunities and potential leadership progression as the company expands.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional baking experience and/or Professional Culinary degree.
• Gluten-free experience or strong aptitude to learn.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
• Strong organizational & time-management skills.
• Works independently; problem-solves in real time.
• Early mornings; lift 50 lbs; stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily GF production: breads, cookies, bars.
• Execute recipes with consistency and quality control.

We have plans for retail, wholesale, and direct-to-consumer distribution and are building our launch team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production & Baking

• Assist daily GF production: breads, cookies, bars
• Execute recipes with consistency and quality control

Kitchen & Operations

• Ingredient rotation & inventory management
• Working cleanly with fresh product
• Packaging product according to brand standards
• Handling packaging materials, lifting boxes, and organizing spaces
• Cleaning and maintenance of the work space
• Adhering to all Food Code and ISD requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• 3+ years professional baking experience and/or Professional Culinary degree
• Gluten-free experience or strong aptitude to learn
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency
