Job summary

Lucky Stars Bakehouse, a new artisan gluten-free bakery, is assembling its launch team in a fast-growing startup environment. We bake breads, cookies, and bars with bold flavors and superior textures, aiming for retail, wholesale, and direct-to-consumer channels.

As a full-time Production & Baking team member, you will assist daily production, ensure recipe consistency, manage ingredients, packaging, and space, and help uphold brand standards while growing with the company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional baking experience and/or a Professional Culinary degree.
• Gluten-free experience or strong aptitude to learn.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and solve problems in real time.
• Early mornings; able to lift 50 lbs; stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable in an evolving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily GF production: breads, cookies, bars.
• Execute recipes with consistency and quality control.
• Ingredient rotation & inventory management.
• Packaging product according to brand standards.
• Handling packaging materials, lifting boxes, and organizing spaces.
• Cleaning and maintenance of the work space.

• Ingredient rotation & inventory management
• Working cleanly with fresh product
• Packaging product according to brand standards
• Handling packaging materials, lifting boxes, and organizing spaces
• Cleaning and maintenance of the work space
• Adhering to all Food Code and ISD requirements
