Job summary

Savannah Scone Company, a growing Savannah bakery, is looking for a Baker to join our morning team. You will craft handmade scones from scratch, support prep and packaging, and help in guest-facing service as needed.

Shifts are early, Monday through Friday, with additional peak-season adjustments. Experience in baking is preferred, but food prep or café experience may qualify. If you take pride in details and a fast-paced kitchen, we’d love to meet you.

Savannah Scone Company started in 2019 with a simple idea: handmade scones, baked from scratch every morning, sold until we run out. We're now one of Savannah's fastest-growing bakeries, with two bakeshops and a national following through Goldbelly. We're still small, still hands‑on, and still growing — which means real room to learn a craft and grow into more. If you take pride in early mornings, clean work, and getting the details right, we'd love to meet you.

What It's Like to Work Here

We're a small team that takes the craft of baking seriously and the way we treat each other even more seriously. The day starts in the dark, the kitchen warms up fast, and by 7:30 a.m. the cases are full. Doors close at 1 p.m. (or when we sell out, whichever comes first), and the rest of the day is yours. We work Monday through Friday only.

Every scone in our cases is made by hand. No commercial mixers (except for frostings). No shortcuts. If you've read our story and that sounds like a kitchen you'd want to be in, we'd love to hear from you. Current openings are at our midtown bakeshop .
