• We are hiring immediately for a full-time BAKER position.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries as per production and catering sheets; assist in production planning to meet daily requirements.
• Ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes, following production standards, and proper equipment.
• Assist with completing production records, including waste tracking, used/unused portions, and shortages; notify supervisor when supplies are low.
• Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Handle food items safely, adhering to safety regulations during preparation and service.
• Clean equipment and workstations thoroughly; keep display equipment clean.
• Interact with customers, resolve complaints professionally, and relay concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain composure and efficiency during peak production times.
• Ensure food presentation, serving, and display meet standards.
• Follow sanitation and safety principles, complying with OSHA standards.
• Complete shift duties timely and thoroughly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
