Location: Boise State

We are hiring immediately for a full-time BAKER position.

Address: Boise State - 1910 W University Drive, Boise, ID 83725. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, some weekend shifts. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Must have prior baking experience.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries as needed per production and catering sheets; assist in production planning.
  2. Ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes, following production standards, and proper equipment use.
  3. Assist with production records, including waste tracking, used/unused portions, and shortages; notify supervisor when supplies are low.
  4. Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and serving temperatures.
  5. Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies, and work area.
  6. Handle food items safely, following all safety regulations during preparation and service.
  7. Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly after use. Keep display equipment clean.
  8. Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner; relay concerns to supervisors.
  9. Maintain calm, accurate, and efficient production and service during peak times.
  10. Ensure food presentation, serving, and display meet standards.
  11. Follow sanitation and safety principles, complying with safety standards.
  12. Complete shift work promptly and thoroughly as per standards.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
