Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Baker to prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes and methods. You will measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate items while maintaining quality and consistency.

Daily tasks also include rotating stock, cleaning work areas, and assisting customers with questions and special orders. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting items, and working in a fast-paced bakery environment with attention to detail and food safety

Qualifications

• Customer service skills to provide friendly, timely help and answer questions.
• Experience preparing breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using recipes and techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining quality and presentation.
• Strong organization and time management to follow production schedules and keep a clean workspace.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work with others and independently to support bakery operations.
• Adaptability to fast-paced production changes and deadlines.
• Safe operation of mixers, ovens, and bakery equipment per guidelines.
• Physical ability to stand long periods and lift/move items in varied temperatures.
