Job summary

Southminster in Charlotte seeks a dependable Baker Lead to prepare breads, desserts, pastries, and cold items for lunch and dinner service. You will follow standardized recipes, production schedules, and ensure food safety, sanitation, and quality in a fast-paced kitchen.

As part of a team-oriented dining program at a life plan community, you will label and date items, maintain the dessert freezer and pantry, and support timely meal service while upholding CAREcore standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two-year culinary degree preferred.
  • 3+ years baking or pastry experience.
