Job summary

Kolache Factory is hiring bakers to prepare and bake kolaches, pastries, and other bakery items from early morning shifts. You will also handle cashier duties, greet guests, and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, are dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior baking, restaurant, or customer service experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and follow recipes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake fresh kolaches, pastries, and other bakery items following company recipes and standards.
• Prepare fillings, glazes, coffee, and other products for daily service.
• Maintain product quality, freshness, and presentation throughout the day.
• Greet every guest with a friendly smile and provide excellent customer service.
• Accurately take customer orders, operate the register, and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Restock products and supplies as needed.
• Keep the bakery, kitchen, dining room, and workstations clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work as part of a team to ensure every customer has a great experience.

As a Baker, you’ll perform both baking and cashier responsibilities, including:
