Job summary

Cedar Point Amusement Park is hiring a baker to prepare food items, pastries, and baked goods for our guests. You’ll follow recipes, assist with inventories, and help ensure quality while working in a fun, fast-paced environment at Cedar Point. The position is onsite in Ohio and welcomes applicants aged 16 and up.

Eligible team members may earn an extra $5/hour starting September 21. Perks include free uniforms, admission to Cedar Point and other properties, employee events, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• Candidates should enjoy helping guests and supporting fellow associates.
• Good judgement and a strong commitment to safety in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Passion and excitement about Cedar Point.
• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Overview

At Cedar Point, work is FUN! As a baker, you’ll cook and prepare food items, baked goods, and pastries for our guests. You’ll also…

• Conducts baking and pastry production, including scaling, measuring, traying, rolling, baking, cooling, freezing, and general finishing.
• Adheres to established recipes and production guidelines, meeting all production requirements.
• Maintains inventories, including counting of ingredients, as well as establishing order amounts to maintain required product levels.
• Adjusts drafts or thermostatic controls to regulate oven temperature.

• Must remain active through October 26th in order to be eligible for bonus pay. Incentive will be paid out after November 1st. Terms and conditions are subject to change at any time.
