A leading company in North Kingstown is seeking Bakers to join their busy team. The role involves various baking processes, including making pastry products, determining baking times, and managing stock. Successful candidates will have relevant qualifications or experience and strong interpersonal skills.
We are seeking Bakers (X2) to join our busy team in Hamilton. This is a full-time role (minimum of 30 hours a week, maximum of 40 hours per week).
The Role
Day-to-day work may include, but not be limited to:
Clean dishes & kitchen area and kitchen utensils while complying with the cleaning and infection control procedure
checking and making sure the quality of raw materials meeting the requirements
weighing the ingredient
making pastry products
preparing pastry fillings
determining the baking times and oven temporary by checking the product appearance.
using the forming, loading, baking, unloading, depanning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and other pastry products
decorating cakes with cream and icing
glasing buns and pastries
using machines to roll and mould dough
Cleaning oil two time per week and check stock.
Our successful applicants will have:
A relevant NZ certificate level 4 or higher qualification, or
3 years relevant work experience
Works well under pressure
Likes a fast pace life
A good level of physical fitness
Ability to work independently as well as part of a professional team
Highly responsible and reliable

Able to work at weekends and public holidays
