Major Food Group's Sadelle’s in New York, NY is hiring a Baker to join the team. The role is full-time with compensation of $18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

You will prepare and cook foods following recipes and quality standards, and help maintain clean, organized workstations ready for the next shift. Responsibilities include following recipes exactly, preparing ingredients, and ensuring sanitation and proper storage.

Qualifications

• Completed a pastry arts degree or certificate preferred.
• Worked in a professional kitchen for 2+ years.
• Food handler's certification (required).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation and cooking of foods based on recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards
• Follow recipes accurately and completely
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping and storing food
• Clean and restock workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas, adhering to sanitation/health regulations and company policy.
