Job summary

Haggen, Inc. is seeking a Baker to craft breads, pastries and decorative desserts with pride. You will work with ovens, mixers and proofer equipment to deliver products meeting top quality and safety standards.

Daily duties include assisting customers, maintaining clean displays, and collaborating with teammates to ensure a welcoming store environment and fresh offerings for our community.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly customer service in a retail or food setting.
• Proficiency in baking breads, cookies and pastries with attention to quality.
• Demonstrates accuracy in measuring, portioning and decorating.
• Works well in a team and supports coworkers during busy periods.
• Eager to learn new recipes, techniques and safety standards.

As a Baker, no one day is ever the same. To truly be successful in the position, you will be passionate about baking breads, cookies, and pastries, as well as producing fancy desserts and decorating cakes. Our Bakers also have the secret ingredient for talking to their customers and take pride in what they are baking, making, and decorating. You will work with ovens, mixers, slicers, and proofers to bake products that meet the highest quality, freshness, and safety standards. When you aren’t rising to the occasion for our customers, you’re helping ensure our display cases and shelves are clean, organized, and well-stocked. Our customers are hungry for what we are serving so come join our team and help satisfy their appetites.
