If you enjoy baked bread, you will love our fresh Baked Breads Department at Uncle Giuseppe's Store in North Babylon! We are seeking a PT Bread Clerk to assist customers with their baked bread selections. Our Bread Clerks create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Candidates should be friendly, greet customers courteously, and collaborate with management and team members to provide high-quality service.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
2. Display freshly baked breads attractively in the store.
3. Clean and sanitize all surfaces, utensils, and equipment according to NYS and QA standards.
4. Keep floors clean and free of debris and spills.
5. Greet customers promptly and courteously, providing assistance as needed.
6. Properly use and maintain all department equipment.
7. Rotate products to ensure freshness.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on customer demand.
• Ability to speak, read, and communicate effectively in English.
