Menzies Aviation is seeking a Baggage Service Agent to assist passengers with baggage issues and to support smooth airport operations. You will coordinate baggage tracking, documentation and resolution while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, ability to stand/walk long periods, and adherence to TSA and company safety standards. Weekend/overnight shifts may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years or older.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• One year of airline/airport/baggage service or customer service experience.
• Minimum one year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Familiarity with airline baggage systems and MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Load and unload passenger baggage, cargo and mail from aircraft.
• Sort and transport luggage to designated areas within the airport.
• Operate baggage handling equipment safely.
• Ensure baggage is scanned, tagged and routed correctly.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow airline, airport and TSA procedures at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of baggage areas.
• Assist with aircraft arrival and departure operations.
• Work with ramp agents and airline staff to meet deadlines.
• Adapt to changing flight schedules and operational needs.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
