Job summary

Idea Coffee LLC is seeking a reliable production teammate for mornings, Monday through Friday, 30-40 hours per week, at our Susquehanna Township bakery. You will join a small team to help bake bagels and pastries, and prepare cream cheeses and salads for retail and wholesale orders.

Full-time, early shifts with consistent hours. You will follow written procedures, maintain cleanliness, and support weekend markets as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for the full shift.
• Shows up on time and communicates clearly.
• Able to follow written procedures with consistency.
• Food safety knowledge or willingness to get certified after hire.
• Prior baking/production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix and scale doughs daily for bagels and pastries.
• Bake and portion cookies, coffee cakes, and baked oatmeals.
• Prepare and package cream cheeses and salads.
• Label, date, and organize finished products for retail and wholesale orders.
• Assist with weekly inventory and putting away deliveries.
• Support prep for weekend markets and wholesale items.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workspace throughout the shift.

We are a scratch bagel and pastry bakery. Our production team handles everything from dough mixing to cream cheese prep. We’re hiring someone who is reliable, organized, and comfortable working with food and equipment at a steady pace.

What This Job Actually Looks Like:

• Mix and scale doughs daily for bagels and pastries.


• Bake and portion cookies, coffee cakes, and baked oatmeals.


• Prepare and package cream cheeses and salads.


• Label, date, and organize finished products for both retail and wholesale orders.


• Assist with weekly inventory and putting away deliveries.


• Support prep for weekend markets and wholesale item.


• Maintain a clean, sanitary workspace throughout the shift.

Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for an entire shift.


• Shows up on time and communicates clearly.


• Comfortable following written procedures with consistency.


• Food safety knowledge (or willingness to get certified after hire).


• Prior baking/production experience preferred.

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday-Friday


• 30-40 hours/week, mornings/early days.


• Pay is $18/hr with opportunities for growth.
