Job summary

PopUp Bagels 7 Penn is seeking entry-level cooks to join our scratch-based kitchens. You will gain exposure to different grill and prep stations, learn menu offerings, and help deliver high-quality, scratch-made bagels to guests.

No experience is required, and we welcome individuals eager to grow with our team in New York. The role offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced restaurant environment, flexible scheduling including part-time or full-time hours, and perks like complimentary bagels

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to different stations within the Bagel shop(s).
• Speak to guests about current menu offerings, seasonality and ingredients, delivering a scratch-made bagel.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever necessary.
• Multi-task in the kitchen for extended periods, with or without accommodations.
• Help maintain a high standard of food safety per DoH and PopUp Bagels standards.

YOU WILL:

• Gain exposure to different stations within the Bagel shop(s).
• Speak to current menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients with guests - making theirday special as you provide them with a delicious scratch-made bagel.
• Work to support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever andwhenever necessary.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time. These physicalrequirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Help to maintain a minimum standard “A” letter grade by following the Department ofHealth and PopUp Bagels food safety standards.
