Job summary

Novolex in Walton, KY is seeking a Machine Operator to operate paper bag production equipment, perform quality inspections, and ensure materials are prepared for each shift. You will read production orders, monitor equipment, and document daily production and quality results.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in a manufacturing setting, and the ability to work 12-hour day/night rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to work 12-hour day and night rotating shifts.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Operate paper bag production equipment to produce grocery, retail, and specialty bags.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure bag dimensions, print accuracy, glue application.
• Set up machinery and prepare materials before production begins.
• Read and verify production orders for accuracy.
• Monitor equipment and report jams, defects, or mechanical issues.
• Complete daily production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
