Printpack Inc in Marshall, NC is seeking a Bag Operator I to run and maintain bag-making machines, ensuring high-quality bags meet specs. You will monitor safeguards, adjust dwell times and temperature controls, and input production data into the system.

The role requires bag-making experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Night shift offers a $2.50/hr premium between 7pm and 7am; flexible shifts may apply, and a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bag making experience is preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate 1-3 bag-making machines simultaneously with proficiency.
• Monitor machine safeguards, pressure systems, dwell times, and temperature controls.
• Ensure product quality meets specifications and manufacturing instructions.
• Complete accurate production reports to maintain product traceability.
• Input data into the Production Operating System with precision.
• Perform quality tests and measurements for machine troubleshooting.
• Assist Quality Technicians with box making and taping.
• Coordinate with material handlers for supply management.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
