Job summary

ResourceMFG in Albuquerque, NM is hiring a Bag Machine Operator/Packer to inspect, align, pack, and document production from the bag-making line. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. First Shift: Mon–Fri 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. ($16.00/hr).

Second Shift: Mon–Fri 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. ($17.00/hr). Prerequisites include a high school diploma or GED, ability to measure with a ruler, and ability to lift up to 25

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to measure accurately with a ruler.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Stand at the delivery end of the bag-making machine
• Inspect bags as they are stacked
• Adjust the machine to ensure bags are properly aligned
• Pack stacked bags into boxes and seal completed boxes
• Load new rolls of plastic film and zipper-profile spools onto the machine
• Record production through the computer terminal
• Complete production documents accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
