Job summary

Novolex in Brownsville, TX is seeking a Bag Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. You will safely operate and monitor the bag making machinery, change rolls, and ensure production runs at the scheduled speed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of manufacturing experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Starting pay is $12 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate bag machine safely and maintain required speed.
• Check bags for quality defects and document quality checks.
• Follow GMP and safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Report needed machine adjustments.
• Prepare daily production reports.
• Meet safety, quality, and waste goals.
