ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging, seeks a Converting Assistant in the Bags Department in Hilbert, WI. You will inspect materials, package bags, troubleshoot production issues, assist in machine changes, and perform quality tests to meet customer specs.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with converting or robot equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Collect, package, and properly label finished bags/gaylords according to production and customer requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues, including material inconsistencies and equipment malfunctions.
• Assist in machine changeovers for different production runs, including loading and preparing new rolls of material.
• Perform quality inspections and testing on finished bags, including drop testing and seal integrity checks.
• Operate PIV equipment to safely move raw materials, finished goods, and other production materials.
• Provide a pathway for advancement into an operator role with opportunities to develop machine operation, troubleshooting, quality, and production skills.

Your Role: Converting Assistants - Bags Department

• Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.

• Provides a pathway for advancement into an operator role, with opportunities to develop machine operation, troubleshooting, quality, and production skills.

Schedule

2, 2, 3 rotating schedule between days and nights - rotation every two weeks.
