Allied Universal in Menlo Park is seeking a Badging Officer to manage security credentials and photo ID programs. You will activate or deactivate badges, monitor access, and support daily security operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 6 months in security or access control, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; prior security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all persons and vehicles have the proper credentials to enter the site.
• Perform customer service by interacting with internal and external clients and assisting in finding resolutions of issues or concerns.
• Process badges and maintain logs regarding the issuance, return and tracking of actions.
• Monitor and regulate daily activities to ensure compliance with site policies and procedures.
• Retain and audit all access control documents and records.
• Record and report incidents to the Site Supervisor or Security Manager.
• Share pass down information with officers on shift.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per post orders.

Allied Universal® is hiring a Badging Officer in Menlo Park. The Badging Officer will be responsible for processing security and access permissions for personnel and others requiring building access. The Badging Officer will be familiar with specified procedures, policies and process’s as set forth for the position in post orders. This position will also activate or deactivate photo identification cards, program of access using the client software program, monitor CCTV, alarm programming for guard responses, answer security telephones, office filing, record keeping, and other similar duties as specified in post orders.

Pay USD $30.75/Hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all persons and vehicles have the proper credentials to enter the site
• Perform customer service by interacting with internal and external clients and assisting in finding resolutions of issues or concerns

• Record and report any incidents to the Site Supervisor, Operations Manager, or Site Security Manager
• Acknowledge and share pass down information with officers on shift

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of six (6) months of prior security professional experience, preferably with a focus on access credentialing
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
• Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively
• Identify critical issues quickly and accurately
• Research, investigate, compile information
• Write informatively, clearly, and accurately

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior military or civilian law enforcement experience
• College degree in Criminal Justice
