Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation is seeking a Product Manager to lead the Bacon category, owning strategy, pricing, inventory, and profitability across the portfolio. You will partner with FP&A, Sales, Planning & Scheduling, and other functions to maximise profitability and drive category growth.

The role requires strong analytical skills, P&L experience, and cross-functional leadership. Travel up to 30% may be needed; the position is based in Delphi, Indiana within IPC's multi-plant operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in category management, product management, brand management, or food manufacturing.
• Experience in protein (bacon), meat processing, or CPG industry strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, Circana, etc.).
• Demonstrated P&L management experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet product group profitability objectives for fiscal year based on budget; pricing, inventory, and assortment strategies.
• Manage pricing activities to maximize profit within product group; coordinate with leadership.
• Oversee inventory management and seasonal needs; coordinate with planning teams.
• Develop strategies for production categories and optimize raw material usage.
• Coordinate with FP&A and Operations to create and maintain BE models guiding inventory and sales.
• Serve as primary contact to Sales for product specs, pricing, lead times, and inventory.
• Negotiate pricing and trade agreements, contribute to annualized RFPs and assortment decisions.
• Develop and maintain cross-functional processes with FP&A, Operations and QA.
