Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food to guests promptly, assisting with dining room cleanliness, and maintaining service stations.

All team members must provide excellent customer service to ensure exceptional guest experiences. The position offers opportunities for advancement with training provided, flexible scheduling, and pay of $11.41/hour plus tips, along with benefits such as medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k)

Qualifications

• No prior experience required—training is provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a current Food Handler's Card, where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift objects up to 30 lbs repeatedly during a shift.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests promptly and courteously.
• Monitor the expo line and assist with running trays for dine-in.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS systems.
• Assist with greeting, seating guests, and packaging takeout orders.
• Support beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
