Job summary

PF Changs China Bistro in the United States is hiring immediate Backwaiters for full-time and part-time hourly shifts. The role emphasizes delivering food promptly, assisting with dining room upkeep, and maintaining service stations to ensure excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training is provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a Food Handler's Card where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and meet all requests.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, iced tea machines, and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and report quality or service concerns.
• Follow company policies, dress code and safety procedures.
• Assist with greeting, seating guests, answering phones and packaging takeout orders when necessary.
• Support beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
