Job summary

Carnival Cruise Lines is seeking a Backstage & Automation Trainer to design and deliver comprehensive Entertainment Technical training across backstage and automation curricula. You will develop tiered courses, handouts, tests, and practical exercises, while lecturing on safety, planning, installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs of automation systems.

Qualifications

Experience designing and delivering specialized training programs for technical staff.
Ability to lecturer on safety, installation, maintenance, and repair of automation systems.
Strong record-keeping for trainee progress and exam results.

Responsibilities

Design tiered curricula and materials (handouts, tests, exercises).
Deliver group and individual trainings to shipboard staff and casting/booking teams.
Administer safety-focused lectures and hands-on labs for backstage automation.
Evaluate trainee performance and maintain performance records.
Manage training inventory and coordination with production teams for new shows.
Support recruitment efforts for Entertainment Technicians with relevant departments.
