Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc.'s Marshalls store in Durham, NC is seeking a Receiving and Merchandising Associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensure efficient processing, and provide an excellent customer experience as part of a collaborative team.

You will train and mentor Associates, manage backroom organization, and support store operations with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Superior communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with the ability to train others.
• Willingness to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure efficient processing.
• Engage with customers to provide an excellent shopping experience.
• Train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is tagged, hung, and properly coded.
• Maintain backroom organization and safety standards.
• Support store operations and communicate priorities to management.
