Qualifications

• Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Dependability and punctuality are a must.
• Passion for birds and nature is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service: Greet and assist customers, and provide expert advice on bird feeding, birdwatching, and nature-related products.
• Receive, unpack, and organize shipments of birding products and merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the backroom, ensuring inventory is properly stored and easily accessible.
• Assist with restocking the sales floor by replenishing merchandise when necessary.
• Accurately label products and track inventory levels.
• Collaborate with store associates to fulfill customer orders and prepare products for pickup or shipment.
• Help maintain overall store organization and cleanliness.
